My pups, my promise.
I am a small hobby breeder in South Jersey. I breed from my house- Private Home. All my puppies have a health guarantee and are backed by Consumer Law. ALL my puppies are home bred and raised and I own ALL my own dogs. I only breed for healthy, happy pups. Which means that I do not and will not inbreed, line breed or anything of the sort. When someone inbreeds or line breeds, this is to down-size the pup. A puppy very small in size generally has alot of sugar problems and requires alot of maintenance. Also with the doubling of the genes causes for defects and health problems; in the heart, liver, and kidneys. None of my adult dogs have any of these problems and are checked for it.
Deciding on a puppy.
When looking for a Shih Tzu, you've come to the right place. All of my puppies are sold by NJ State Law. I take raising these puppies and finding them homes seriously. It does not matter to me if you are a construction worker or the c.e.o. of some company, the only thing that matters is that the puppy has a loving home. Also, I do not ship my puppies out. I want to meet the new owners and will only sell a puppy in person. All of my puppies are friendly and love people. They have their winning personalities, the only problem would be what color you want!
When you take the puppy home.
Both parents are on the premises. As you can see from our prices a good home is more important. My dogs are registered and/or registerable, have current vaccinations, are examined by a veterinarian and come with health certificate/health guarantee. When you go home with one (or more) of my pups, you will receive: a little baggie of food, some training treats and a toy. All pups have been paper trained and [depending on the weather] started outside training. But, with a new home you may have to remind them where the door is. Thank you!
I have been breeding Shih Tzus for a little over 10 years. I have worked with my mother (who has over 45 years in dogs and 10 years for working with a vet). I am a 4th generation hobby dog breeder. This means that starting with my great grandmother- who brought the original German Shepards from Germany- to my grandma, mom, and now me! I have 3 lifetimes of breeding experience behind me and take it seriously. I take pride in finding my puppies homes. But as a new college student to becoming a veterinarian, I am not always available. Please call to make any appointments to see the puppies, if I am in class no one else can show you the puppies as they would not know if a puppy has a deposit or not. If I do not answer, I am most likely in class. Please just leave a voicemail and I will get to you right after. Thank you for understanding and your patience.
A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE IF YOU ARE COMING TO VISIT THE PUPPIES. PLEASE EITHER MAKE ME YOUR FIRST STOP OR MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND COME WITHOUT STOPPING AT ANY OTHER PUPPY PLACE. PET SHOPS HAVE DISEASES LIKE PARVO IN THEM AND THE DISEASE IS DEADLY, A VIRUS THAT CAN KILL IN 24 HOURS AND SPREAD FAST.
This is why I do not want anyone to go a pup shop or puppy place before coming to me. I love and care for my puppies and to even think that one of them can get sick makes me terrified. Especially a disease such as parvo or kennel cough. Puppy places are covered with those diseases because they get their dogs from puppy mills and have those puppies shipped in to them. ALL OF MY PUPPIES are HOME bred, raised, and cared for, even though they are vaccinated against these diseases that does not mean that they can not get the diseases.
I have tirelessly repeated this to people, and have asked nicely when they are on their way to see the puppies. But as some visitors have proven, I need to go into more detail and am going to explain myself better.
IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE ME YOUR FIRST STOP YOU WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPIONTMENT TIME!! NO EXCEPTIONS!
My job is to protect my puppies and find them loving homes. I take it seriously. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING!
